In a recent exposé, Blizzard Entertainment shared an overview trailer for Diablo 4's upcoming class, Vessel of Hatred, focusing on a unique character called the Spiritborn. Narrative designer Eleni Rivera-Colon shed more light on the Spirit Guardians' formation, their intricate link to the Sanctuary, and their extraordinary combat prowess.

The Spiritborn can summon four distinct Spirit Guardians while engaged in combat. Rezoka recognized as the Hunter takes the form of a jaguar and harnesses flame-based powers to attack its adversaries. Kwatli, known as the Seeker, takes an eagle's form, providing the ability to teleport and execute lightning strikes.

Wumba, recognized as the Guardian, embodies a gorilla responsible for executing physical blows while also reflecting a protective symbol possibly associated with damage minimization. Lastly, we have Balazan, the Devourer, manifesting as a centipede, spreading decay amongst its rivals.

Rivera-Colon confirmed that players will not only explore Nahantu's jungles but also enter the Spirit Realm, which serves as the dwelling place of the Spirit Guardians. Moreover, she hinted at Mephisto's possible sinister plans. Discover these and more when Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is released on October 8th, available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
