Fate/EXTRA Record Receives New Gameplay Trailer, Launches in 2025 for PS4, PS5, PC, and Switch

At the 2024 FGO Fes, Type-Moon unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer for Fate/EXTRA Record, their remake of the classic PSP dungeon crawler. The eagerly anticipated title is set to launch in 2025, available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Distinct from Fate/stay night and Fate/Grand Order, Fate/EXTRA Record transports players into a virtual realm on the moon. In this environment, global hackers transform into Spiritrons and take on the roles of Masters in a brand-new Grail War, collaborating with various Servant classes. Iconic heroes participating include Saber (Nero Claudius), Caster (Tamamo no Mae), Archer (Emiya Shirou), among others.

The game’s official site promises enhancements in visual quality, including refreshed character graphics and an expanded storyline. Players can also expect extra visual elements, such as animated character portraits during dialogues. While the deck-building combat system remains a core feature, it will now showcase detailed artwork for each card, adding depth to the gameplay experience.
